Mupples goes to Europe: London Days 4 to 6!

Back with another 300 photos from Days 4 to 6!!!
I seriously need a more efficient way of taking and sorting through photos though...
I take 2 hours just sorting through them and arranging them among my three sources of photos (My camera, my phone and Yuehuan's camera)
D:

Anyway it's our last day in London today (Day 8 now as I type this), and we're gonna be heading to Amsterdam!!!
Wooooohooooo excited!
Starting to feel a little too unhealthy for my comfort from all the good food I've been having in London, so hopefullyyyy I won't binge so much in the rest of Europe hahahaha.

My sleeping/waking hours have been really wonky by the way.
Some nights I sleep 12am - 5am, some (actually most) I sleep 2am - 7am, some 10pm -10am...
I can't even tell whether I have jetlag or I've sleeping issues hahaha.
As I type this it's now 2am and I don't even feel tired.
/:

I've been getting used to the cold, I think.
Everyone's telling me it's actually really warm these few days, at 17 degrees, but I'm still dying because I'm that weak.
I think I'm the only one in the house who uses the heater hahaha
My skin's been getting really really dry too. D:
Tomorrow I'll have to go and buy my very first bottle of moisturizer if not my face is gonna crack.
I don't even know how to buy facial products omgggg save me.

-----

K after I typed that previous line I realized it was really very late and I needed to get more rest before my last day in London, so I forced myself to go to bed hahahaha.
But in the end I didn't sleep well, and I didn't sleep a wink on our 12 hour journey from London to Amsterdam, and now it's 1am after a whole day around Amsterdam, and I am deadddd tired.
I pretty much haven't slept for 2 days.
D:

But anyway!!

Day 4:

Berries for breakfast! :D

Outfit of the day for day 4!

Red leotard from American Apparel, watermelon skirt from Bangkok, high socks, gloves.

Aaaand I headed to Borough Market again!  Hahaha couldn't help it - there was too much food I had to go back to try!

I love the tube by the way.  It's so clean and comfortable and HEATED.
But it's really damn expensive la zzz.

Random cool drumset I saw while walking from London Bridge Station!

I had just missed the performance :(

Borough Market pt II!

Salt beef sandwich time!!!!

So generous with the meat! :D

Yummmm.

Next up, Kappacasein's three cheese toastie!! :D
LOOK AT THAT PILE OF CHEEEESE!!!

Soooooo gooooood omg I could really do with one right now in the freezing cold of Amsterdam!!!

Oooozing with goodness.
But I have to admit it got a little jelat after awhile /:
But it was sooo good at first when it was fresh and super hot and gooey!

Hahaha random bahgah leggings I spotted!!
Would totally buy them if I saw them in a shop!!

Pretty pastries!

Freshly squeezed apple juice!

More sangriaaaa which I forced myself not to have so I wouldn't overeat... Too much.
Hahahaha

Then I took the train down to Portobello Market!  Because I heard that it's only fully open on Satrudays!

I honestly wasn't really impressed with Portobello Market...
After awhile all the antiques and craft things looked the same.
And it's not as friendly and lively as Borough Market!
The vendors were so cold :(

I wanted that painting soooo badly but just the small one alone cost 25 quid D:

Toy soljaaas.

Hehe cute boy dancing to the man's singing.
(The boy's just some random passerby's son!)

Paella which I didn't try because I shall only eat the paella at borough market hahaha.

Then I took a break from the walking to...
Consume even more nomz.
Hahahaha

K la actually my phone was running low on batt and I had to plonk myself somewhere to charge my phone hahaha that's why I ended up in bucks!

Then I took the bus back towards Oxford to shop some more!
This is just a random shop display I saw while on the bus :D

Hehe hip flask I got for my brother!

Thennn I took the bus again towards Piccadilly to meet Melvin for dinner!

Four Seasons Duck!!!!
Everyone had been bugging me to go and saying it's life-changing etc etc so I was really really excited!
But alas...
I didn't like it ):
It was waaaay too fatty!
And if you know me, you'd know I'm not the healthy-eater kind of girl.
I love my meats and fats and creams and cheeses etc etc.
But this was really too much for me ):
It was nice at first, but halfway through I started to feel a little sick D:

The salted fish fried rice was not bad though!

Mapo tofu!
Quite so-so... /:

Melvin!

Then we headed to M&M world which was nearby!
Omg the smell when you walk in...  It's so incredible omg you can get a sugar high just from inhaling!

OMG SO MUCH SWEETNESS.
Hahahaha

Sooooo colourful omg love it!

Walking around Chinatown~

Then we headed to Lab Bar for a couple of drinks!

Their drinks menu is SO extensive!

Pornstar Martini and Rapaska!
(As seen in the menu above!)

My drink looks like a giant strawberry on a stick hahaha

OH AND I FOUND MY TWISTER ICE CREAM!!!!!
I had just instagrammed about it a couple of weeks ago, about how much I miss it!
And it's here!!!! :D :D
Literally screamed and ran into the provision store when I saw that they had it! :D

Day 5:
Berries for breakfast again!

And cup noodles :D

Sun was out so cropped tops and skorts came out to see London! :D

Took the train down to Bricklane Market!

Lots of really cool graffiti everywhere!

Super cool right!

I don't even like pina colada hahaha but this was too cute so I had to get it

Lots of nomz

And lots of craft!

K la honestly... I was quite bored at Bricklane.
After awhile everything started to look the same hahaha
And the things that I was actually interested in turned out to be ridiculously expensive D:

So I went to plop myself down at some random cafe to people watch and blog a little! :)

Americano and Cranberry Shortcake!

People watchin!

Hahaha these strangers were really really cute.
The bunch of dudes were just walking past and they noticed that the girls had a birthday cake on their table.
Then they were like "HEYYY ITS YOUR BIRTHDAY!!!"
And then they started belting out the birthday song.
Hahahaha super adorable!

Then I went back to Bricklane to have their awesome Salt Beef Bagel!!!

Super super amazing.
It was much better than the one I had at Borough!

Thennnn it got late and my iPhone cable spoilt so I headed back.
):
I'm so damn pissed with Apple.
This is like my 3rd authentic cable and it's so damn expensive for a freaking wire.
Gaaaah.
Wasted 15 quid on it here in London ):

Day 6:
Outfit of the day! (:

My phone was about to die and so was my camera so I koped these photos from Yuehuan, who had finally joined me in London the night before!

Stupid apple store to buy my stupid cable zzz.

Yuehuan! :D
(Also known as Erika hahahah I can't figure out which to call her because I've been calling her Yuehuan for forever hahahah)

Back at Covent Garden!

Hehe cute angmoh kids

MORE SHAKE SHACK!!!

Stupid cable.

MY DOUBLE SHACK BURGER OMGGGG SO GOOD.
I could eat it every day I swear.

Some vintage watches I was thinking of getting!
But they were ridiculously expensive ):

Mini kaleidoscopes!
:D

Vintage compasses!

Walking to River Thames~

I have no idea why there's a random Egyption statue in the middle of no where.  Hahaha

Super cute and atas toilet hahahaha.
One thing about Europe is that the toilets are damn expensive to use :(
0.50 pounds per entry?
But at least the toilets are really clean! :)

London Eye!

Sorry for the million touristy shots hahaha.

Strawbzzzz
I can't seem to find my Orange&Strawberry Calippo though!!
It was sold out everywhere!
:(

TWISTER AGAIN!!!

Hullo Erika! :D

Random passerby who helped us take the previous photo hahaha

St. Margaret's Church in Westminster Abbey!

Only after this shot did I see the no-photos sign.
Whooooops.

Then we wandered too far and ended up in court hahahahaha.

No for real, we just accidentally walked into the Supreme Court as we aimlessly walked around.
Hahaha.

O_O
"Don't arrest us!"

Such pretty court rooms!

The emblem of the supreme court, which was explained to me by the guide (pictured below)
Rose for England, Leek for Wales, Thistle for Scotland and Flax for Northern Ireland.

(You can't tell in this photo but he's actually really friendly hahahaha)

Hahahaha oops I got caught

Walking down the Mall!

St. James Park!

SQUIRRL.

The people lying down on the grass made it look soooo good to have a picnic!
So we had wanted to return the next day with food to have a pretty picnic.
Butttttt the next day it was raining D:
Super suay.
London weather T_T

Buckingham Palace!

Then we headed back to rest for awhile (Okay actually I totally KOed while Erika/Yuehuan went on to have dinner with Melvin and their friend Kenneth!)
I totally fell asleep for 2 good hours hahahaha apparently Erika tried to shake me to wake me up but I didn't budge so she gave up and left without me hahahaha.

Sooooo... I left at 8:30 to have my own dinner at...

BAHGAH AND LOBSTA!!!!!
:D

I was really fortunate because I managed to not queue at all, when the queue usually takes an hour?
Perks of traveling alone :D

SO MUCH LOBSTA.
And yes yes everyone says I should have gotten the lobster instead of the lobster wrap, but the bartender said she prefers this so I trusted her judgement!
K la maybe I'll go try the lobster again when I head back to London for my flight back to Sg!

After dinner I met up with Erika, Melvin and Kenneth for drinks and small noms at this Michelin star restaurant called Hakkasan!

The Hakkatini was really good! (The orange one), even though I usually don't even like martinis!

Jasmine Tea pork ribs!
In Melvin's words, "THE BEST PORK RIBS YOU WILL EVER EAT.  The jasmine tea aftertaste is really damn strong and the meat just falls off the bone!!"
Hahahaha.  He really did feel very strongly about these ribs.

Toilet selfayyy.

Then Erika and I headed back home to chat a little bit with Melvin's friends Hanyuan and Weiliang!

Then Erika went to bed and Hk Wl and I decided to walk around to see if there was any night life in London on a Monday night.

The answer is: No.
Hahahaha
All the happening bars were closed, and we had to go to this random place called Roxy??

And they were playing ROCK that night hahahahahaha.
I usually wouldn't mind because I love rock music, but (1) It's a club (2) The DJ didn't mix at ALL he literally just played a playlist from his iTunes hahahaha (3) The club was full of underage angmohs trying very hard to dance and look cool hahahaha (4) After awhie the "rock" changed to weirdddd music, and they even played THE POKEMON THEME SONG HAHAHAHA

Fail night, but I'm glad I got to make two new friends! :)

Back home again! :D

Selfieception.
Then it was time for bedddd.

--------

Tiring days, but I was really really happy in London!
I'm currently in Rome, and I've been to Amsterdam, Luxembourg and Brussels before this.
But so far I'm sure London's been my favorite.
So glad I spent so many days there!
And I wasn't even bored!
I got bored of Amsterdam in 2 days lololol but I'll blog about that another time.

Alright, it's 1pm now in Rome, and Erika and I are way too lazy to get our butts moving so we're just gonna bum around for a bit.
The running around the previous week among Am, Lux and Br really killed us.
Running around with 10+kg backpacks is really no joke D:

Alright byeeeee!
