❤ ❤ ❤: Bintan Getaway!

Joyce and I were going MAD with school and personal issues, so we decided to just SCREW THIS and took a boat to Bintan (Tanjung Pinang) hahaha. It was SUPER impromptu. Like we really couldn't take all the pressure anymore so we just bought a Groupon and left when the weekend came.
It was really quite enjoyable!
Although we were on quite a pathetic budget, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!
In the above picture, we were being chauffeured around in our own car! :D

And we finally went to our hotel!!! We stayed at Aston Tanjung Pinang!
It's a really really small establishment without much amenities, but the pool was AWESOME. (:
Will talk more about the pool later!

Also, there really is NOTHING to do in Tanjung Pinang but to nuaaaa your day away. So if you're looking for a Bali-type kind of holiday, I wouldn't recommend T.P.! Joyce and I really just wanted to do nothing but relax, so it was perfect for us (:

THE POOL. K I tell you why it's so awesome! Firstly, it's HUGE. Especially for such a tiny establishment! Also, because the pool is surrounded by the building, half of the pool is ALWAYS shaded! :D

Hahahaha this couch thing which we rolled all the way from the other end of the pool, to the shaded area we were sitting at hahaha. I think the life guards thought we were mad.
