Hong Kong Day 7!

On Day 7 I had completely lost my voice so I had to hand gesture the entire day ):
Wasn't as frustrating as it sounds, because it was like the fourth time I've lost my voice?
So I'm (sadly) quite used to it.
I think I should go learn sign language soon. /:

Went to Brunch Club at Causeway Bay!
I highly recommend their food!
And their service is amazing!!!
Like at night on this same day, Joyce and I desperately needed to use a toilet.
And toilets in Hongkong are SUPER difficult to find, I don't know why.
So we tried our luck with Brunch Club which happened to be near by, and they had already closed because it was pretty late.
And they let us in to use their toilets!  How nice!
:D

Tea cups!

Eggs benedict with smoked salmon.
It's AMAZING.

And my lamb burger!!!!!
With mint leaves and yogurt sauce!
It's really the BEST burger I have EVER had in my life.
It was so good we went back again the next day!

Photobucket
Yummy lemongrass tea with honey to soothe my throat!

Outfit of the day!
Romper from H&M which I had bought during my HK trip last year hahaha.
It used to be black polka dots, but my mom stained it, so she bleached it, and now they're beige polka dots hahahahaha.
Circle maroon skirt from bugis, shoes I had just bought from Mongkok!

And a matching umbrella :D

K we were supposed to take the Peak Tram, but when we got there, the queue was SOOO long and the sun was so hot that we got too grumpy to wait.
Plus I was voiceless so I couldn't voice out my frustrations, which made things even worse.

So we gave up hahaha and went to meet Kwok and Kok at the Star Ferry!

Photobucket
On the ferry (:
Nice fresh air!

Photobucket
Damn cute how the ferry blends into the pier!

We then stopped by Causeway Bay for HK Milk Curd!
K it's really more like milk pudding.
Yummy!

More macaroni!

Then we went home, rested for awhile, changed clothes, and headed out again to see the night life!

On the bus out!

K these were the ONLY happy times of the night.

After this we went to Beijing Club, and, omg:
EVERYBODY PLEASE DON'T GO THERE.  EVER.
Joyce and I went there last year, and the music was awesome.
So was the crowd!

BUT THIS TIME IT WAS SOOO BAD.
All 4 of us were SUPER grumpy at the end of the night about what a waste of money and time and health (for me) it was.
-_-

K I personally don't like smoke.
And people were smoking everywhere in the packed club, although there are signs everywhere which states that they're only supposed to smoke on the balcony.
So it made my throat 100x worse.
It hurt SO badly at the end of the night I thought my throat had turned into sandpaper.
And entrance cost like S$60++ for the guys?!
Mad right?!
And the club was SO packed that AFTER they had paid and we had gotten our chops, we couldn't even GET INTO THE DAMN CLUB.
Like it was only 1am?  And they were turning us away!
How in the world can they make us pay and THEN tell us that they're full?!
Ridiculous right!!!!
So we had to come back an hour later, and by some stroke of luck, we got in.
(Other people were still trying to get in.  Don't know how we managed to squeeze in.)

And when we got in, the music SUCKED.
Like, it wasn't meh or bland.
It was DAMN BAD.
The DJ ACTUALLY played "Papa loves Mambo"
LIKE THE ENTIRE SONG.  RAW.  Trumpets and all.
They also played some ridiculous song about a 9 millimeter or something?
Like the song went ON and ON and ON and ON for half an eternity.

They played a grand total of 1 good song.
Internet Friends by Knife Party.
The DJ didn't even bother mixing it.  I mean, not that it needs to be mixed, but isn't that what a DJ is for?
What's even more hilarious is that he has this sign on the front of his console which says:
"NO SONG REQUESTS"
-_-
Dude, you need all the help you can get.

Biggest regret the entire trip was going there.
Seeeriously.

Gosh, I was happy when I started typing this post, and now after blogging about the Beijing Club experience my mood has plummeted -_-
Til tomorrow!
